Dear Professor Kim:
Thank you for your interest in getting
involved in the International Communication Project 2014 (ICP). www.communication2014.com
The Project has six founding organisations:
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (in the USA); the Irish
Association of Speech & Language Therapists; the New Zealand
Speech-language Therapists Association; the Royal College of Speech &
Language Therapists (in the United Kingdom); Speech Pathology Australia; and
Speech-Language& Audiology Canada. These organisations form the Strategic
Advisory Committee for the ICP 2014.
We are pleased to welcome Asia Pacific
Society of Speech, Language and Hearing to the ICP 2014 as a participating
organisation. Although specific commitments are not asked of participating
organisations, they are encouraged to:
·
Share ICP information and logo
on their websites and social media profiles
·
Sign the Communication Pledge
on the Project site and encourage others to do so
·
Write about and promote the ICP
in their regular communications
·
Download and share the campaign
resources
·
Organise events and make links with others
The names of ICP 2014 participating
organisations, along with links to their websites, are listed on the ICP 2014 web
site. Also, if the Communication Pledge isn’t yet translated into a language or
languages in a participating organisation’s country, we hope those
organisations will do translations we can add to the ICP2014 web site.
If you haven’t already done so, check out
the Project website which tells you about the ICP 2014, the Communication
Pledge and planned activity. You are welcome to submit related stories, news,
and information about meetings, events, and other developments to info@communication2014.com for
posting on the ICP 2014web site.
You can also contact the Project at info@communication2014.com if you
have any questions or need more information. Furthermore, if you would like to
discuss matters directly, you are welcome to contact me at jcerquone@asha.org.
Thank you very much. We look forward to working
together with you to raise awareness of communication!
Sincerely yours,
Joseph Cerquone jcerquone@asha.org
